Z-MBUS

RS232/M-BUS, USB/M-BUS adapter module for SENECA or third-party CPUs

Meter-Bus (M-BUS) is the main bus used for energy metering and intelligent meter management, i.e. separate recording of heat, water, electricity and gas consumption.
The Z-MBUS adapter allows us to interface M-BUS networks via RS232 serial port directly to SENECA controllers such as Z-TWS4, Z-PASS2-S, S6001-RTU, and CPUs of other manufacturers that implement the protocol and have an RS232 port. Alternatively, with the micro USB port onboard, you can access the M-BUS network from your workstation PC.
The module can power up to 25 M-BUS devices. From the webserver interface integrated into the SENECA controller, you can scan/configure/ diagnose Z-MBUS slave devices. Straton SENECA controllers also provide an optional library of IEC 61131 function blocks for customizing data readings from M-BUS slaves.

Sales note: When using Z-TWS4 or Z-PASS-2-S softPLC, the CS-TIP-MEF-PH accessory is mandatory.
